- 1920 x 1080 

3. If you have a video file which is 720:50p what frame rate and what does the p stand for?

-50 and p stands for process scan

4. What is the difference between p and I (eg. 1080p)

- p means it is a progressive scan and the picture is recorded in full frames in one go. Whereas i means interlaced video. This means the picture is recorded in alternate odd and even scan lines.

5. What frame rate is real film shot at?

- 24fps

6. What might be the advantage of shooting at a higher frame rate?

- An advantage of shooting at a higher frame means the image will be clearer and have more definition.

7. What defines a lossy file?

- When a file is compressed

Files commonly used within video editing consists of the following

Mov - This is a video file type to do with apple which is a compressed file

MP3 - This is an audio file

MP4 - This is a film file

- A bitrate is the rate that a file will process a set of information. If you have a more advanced computer the bitrate will also be more advanced making the video export a better quality.
