- p means it is a progressive scan and the picture is recorded in full frames in one go. Whereas i means interlaced video. This means the picture is recorded in alternate odd and even scan lines.

- A bitrate is the rate that a file will process a set of information. If you have a more advanced computer the bitrate will also be more advanced making the video export a better quality.
